About Us

After 6 years travelling to do harvest during my holidays locally and abroad the time felt right to start my own label. From day one the goal was to produce wines from organic vineyards - hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeast with no additions and without any filtration or fining. To me this is the definition of “Natural Wine”. This ancient intuitive methodology has always produced the most interesting and vibrant wines I have enjoyed.

Our first harvest for Scintilla was 2017 and celebrate 10 years next year.

In 2021 we purchased 36 acres on Peramangk Country (Basket Range, Adelaide Hills). Here I set up the winery, managing the orchards with apples, pears, cherries. We aim to start plantings of vines in Spring 2026. This is our slice of paradise, where we live and grow with our daughters Flo and Augie. We are committed to nurturing and regenerating this country which is both exciting and a privilege.

Thanks for supporting our dream.
